Digital Resources for families and practitioners
The Library Presents, based in Cambridgeshire, has kindly funded us to create sensory discovery packs and accompanying sensory story videos for two of our current productions: Crabby and Be Not Afeard. These have been created in Lockdown with minimal resources.
These resources are intended to be used by families as positive activities that support mental health and emotional processing during the Covid-19 pandemic and Lockdown. As a general rule of thumb: if you like CBeebies' style of content, then these packs are for you.
Resources are free, inclusive for a wide range of needs, and give a taste of what to expect when visiting one of our live performances by encouraging you to create your own mini versions at home, or where ever you are during these strange times. Videos are subtitled and keyword signed in a combination of Makaton and early sign; some of the words we need do not appear in Makaton, and sometimes we feel a sign from another system better conveys a lyric, feeling or moment so we often blend both together.
